Family First
Family Therapy
Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy that focuses on helping families and couples improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen relationships. It is based on the idea that family members are interconnected and that problems affecting one member of the family can affect the whole family.
Family therapy can be used to address a range of issues, including behavioral problems in children, marital conflicts, parent-child conflicts, substance abuse, and mental health issues. The therapist works with the family as a whole, and also with individual family members, to identify and address the underlying issues and to develop strategies for improving communication, reducing conflict, and building stronger relationships.
Family First
If you are like many of our patients, you’ve been frustrated with previous therapy services and unable to find meaningful or lasting relief from symptoms that make life unpleasant. All of that is about to change.
To make deep, lasting changes, you must also work on the psychological, social, and cultural parts of your life. We offer
therapy that is collaborative and based on evidence so that you can build a meaningful life on your own terms.
Dr. Eric Robbins founded Blue Umbrella Psychiatry after years of working in a fragmented mental healthcare industry that completely lacked compassion. He noted that patients aligning with disconnected physicians and
therapy providers led to poor communication, mixed messages, and ineffective care. Blue Umbrella Psychiatry was made so that all services for mental health, like
therapy, group therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, could be found under one roof. Providers collaborate with each other and patients to care for the whole person.
If you are looking for a
therapy service provider who truly cares, then look no further than Blue Umbrella Psychiatry!
